Screen with a Bluish Tint

Question

Hello,When I turn on my PC, my screen (which also functions as a television) has a bluish tint.It's like a bluish veil that has settled over it.Every time I restart, it's always the same thing. I can't find any color management options to remedy this either!I've updated Java (and other software) using this link:https://www.flexera.com/products/operations/software-vulnerability-management.html(Another link for Java)Could the problem be caused by the software?The issue persists >_< !!! Since I work a lot with images (for my drawings, photos, etc.), this problem is really unbearable :'( Help!! Thank you in advance for your responses.

Where can I get them? (computer properties?)  Is it: Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 7500 LE (Microsoft Corporation-WDDM) My PC is a Packard Bell, processor x86 ACPI / Driver date 21.06.2006.  What technical specifications are you talking about?

Hi Qwerty,  No, just with the computer...  (But it's pretty thin, like a blue film that maybe you can't see when you turn on the TV)  But I would say no, really just with the PC.

Well, at least if the TV is working, it's not the screen.  However, your graphics card... do you know the technical specifications of your computer, or the brand and model please? -- You shouldn't underestimate people, but you must never forget that they are.

Well, on TV, it really looks like it's going... But maybe it's so subtle that I can't perceive it... :/ But just by looking, I would say no. I've tried to rebalance the colors... But nothing conclusive for the computer screen -_-

Okay, so there are 2 solutions left, the cable or the graphics card.  For the cable, no problem, it's standard and it costs nothing, you just take the one you have at the store, show it to them, and they'll give you the same one. You also have a sure chance of 5.  After that, we'll tackle the graphics card, making sure it's properly secured to the motherboard to start with.   -- You shouldn't take people for fools, but you should never forget that they are.

Hello,  I tried my PC on a 32-inch SONY screen, and there all the colors seemed to be preserved. (Even though no adjustments were made to adapt the PC to this screen, which is only used as a TV; at first, I was quite surprised by the vibrant colors! But the colors were still sharp and vivid).  I then reconnected it to my usual screen, and there it was still the same.  Note: When I send the PC, Packard Bell appears on a background that is usually blue - here it appears violet.  And when Windows says "Loading," "preparing your desktop" (this happens at the startup of Vista, it takes a second), in the background, it's a mix of turquoise blue and another blue that displays. I notice a line between the two colors; that is to say... I can clearly see the difference in the "gradient" like a line, I see a small line parallel to the screen between the two shades of blue. You can see the pixels. It's not a clear line, you notice a line between the two colors, which didn't happen to me before this blue veil.  On the SONY, this line had no effect. So is it the graphics card that is failing? The TV, which is new, that is defective? (Even though nothing notable "blatant" occurs on the TV).

Well yes, that's it... To my great surprise, yes -_-  Unless there was a change on the lower screen that I didn't notice, but still. The colors were clearly more vivid, and the blue veil didn't seem to be present. It was a Sony; it wasn't the same...  I don't understand anything anymore, where does the problem come from then? Do I need to return the TV? Otherwise, I should test it with another computer, but I don't have another computer :(

Well, I tried reconnecting my PC to the other screen (SONY). I have to say, it's not the computer; the colors are vibrant while they seem dull on my screen (SAMSUNG)... Tomorrow I'll take advantage of the warranty and exchange it. If they offer a refund, I might even get a Sony.. ! So I'll test it tomorrow with my new screen and keep you posted! =) Have a good evening.

Pffff I'm bringing it back to the store and there’s nothing... So the guy, of course, didn't want to refund or exchange it... (I mean, from his point of view, it's normal...). I looked silly, so I clearly explained the issue... The circumstances and everything... We tried some adjustments but no, everything's fine after all! >_<  Another guy showed up, more experienced, and in a few seconds he said to me: "Don’t bother, you set it to 75 Hertz, right? Switch it to 60Hz..." I admitted that I had insisted on 75Hz on my PC. (Because I had been advised previously to avoid eye strain).  Filled with new information,... out of doubt and curiosity I go home, eager to test it on my PC. So I put it back together, I turn it on and there ...!?!... The problem is gone!  So now it's confusing, hard to understand -_-  The colors have returned and the kind of graphic (the line between the two blues) displayed at the startup of Vista has decreased or at least the line is no longer in the same place, it first moved down, then it disappears at certain startups... oO? It will probably eventually fade away completely...  So I check, and it's set to 60Hz...  So either the problem fixed itself when I put it back together...> Meaning, it auto-reset to 60Hz and thus the problem is solved! And that was the issue all along... Or maybe there's something brewing, and it's going to hit me again in the coming days x) We’ll see x) Mystery.. x) But well, for me, it seems resolved :) I’ll give updates in the coming days xD Thank you for all your help Qwerty :)
