Hello,
I bought an Emtec Movie Cube Q800 multimedia hard drive. It worked normally the first day, but the next day the remote control refused to work. I checked the batteries, which were in place and in good condition. Can it be repaired? I bought a universal remote control that doesn’t seem to work well. The disk works fine with the computer. Please help me find a solution. I hope you’re well.

same problem for a few days now. The universal remote can’t find the code for the Movie Cube. Where can one find the IR codes for the Emtec Movie Cube? -

I had the same issue. Well, almost. I lost my remote during a move.
To find a solution, I contacted EMTEC's after-sales service via: http://www.emtec-international.com/fr-eu/online_assistance/movie_cube|multimedia_recorder/1156
Five days later, they sent me a new remote. :)
