LG M2362D screen issue

Hello,

I have a problem with my LG PLATRON M2362D screen. When I turn on the screen, it is all white and it says at the top "V3.05.0" even though my PC is not even turned on. I can't turn it off... except by unplugging the power.

I have already tried unplugging and replugging the power, checking the cables, and there are no issues in that regard.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.5.5

I have the solution from LG

1° Turn on the screen
2° Press and hold the exit button on the remote until a snowy screen appears
3° Turn off the screen for about 10 seconds
4° Turn the screen back on

It works for me

Damn, it's a bummer, I have this problem but I can't find the remote :-(
I'm going to try leaving it unplugged for a while and then plugging it back in, but I can tell this is going to be complicated.

Hello,

The procedure isn't working for me.
My screen is a M237WDP.

How long do I need to press the EXIT button?

1° Turn on the screen
2° Press and hold the exit button on the remote until a snow screen appears
3° Turn off the screen for about 10 seconds
4° Turn the screen back on

Thank you

Hello
can you try to connect it to another PC to see if it does the same thing?

I don't want to be pessimistic, but I've had this problem twice, and each time the only solution that occurred to me was to return the screen to the manufacturer. According to the customer service at Leclerc, it happens sometimes, and it needs to be reset to factory settings. Except that you, the user, can't do that.
I think the best solution is to return it each time and after three times try to negotiate a refund or a replacement screen for another version because this model obviously has a manufacturing defect. We are not the only ones in this situation judging by the forums.

Good luck with your efforts...

Nico.
