Hello,
I've had this printer for a month, and overall I'm very happy with it. What bothers me is that it recalibrates at least with each new print; it makes me lose a lot of time, it makes a lot of noise, and "apparently" it also consumes ink. When it's not a calibration, it's a "color correction out of range," ...
If someone could help me reason with my printer and moderate its fits of unnecessary calibrations, I would be very grateful.
Thank you in advance!

Hello,
I replaced the cartridges in my Canon LPB5050 with non-original ones, and since this evening, the white is printing in yellow.
I have a report to finish and I'm pulling my hair out!!!
The calibration cannot be done correctly, and the color correction is just as out of whack; can you come to my rescue?
Thank you..

I have the same problem.
She does a calibration session with every print (I have a LBP5050n)
Not printing much, I'm used to turning off the printer regularly, and I thought that by leaving it on (and thus going to sleep after X minutes - configurable) it wouldn't happen anymore.
Well no, when it comes out of sleep, it prints right away, then boom... calibration (hell of a noise, almost 2 minutes, it consumes toner, it heats up) and it's USELESS because it goes back to sleep and then starts again at the next print.
Basically =
I print a page (20 sec)
2 min of calibration
sleep...
20 seconds of printing
2 min of calibration
sleep...
etc etc ...
I've looked in the manual, and I don't think there's a way to escape this.
Does anyone have a solution?
Have you contacted Canon customer service?
Thank you.

The toners delivered with mine are filled to the minimum, I've printed 20 pages and now there's nothing left
I called Canon, they say they've had problems with toner 716 but even though they acknowledge the issues, they don't want to hear anything under the pretext that they're not guaranteed! Am I hallucinating?

Hello everyone.
Same problem.
Still this error message "error colors out of range" for every printed document. You have to click every time you print to get around it. Additionally, the out-of-range color correction utility has no effect.
I changed the toners to new ones (Canon brand) but with no effect.
-> PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE on the part of Canon.
Simple solution: Boycott this brand.

I have a Canon LPB 5050 printer.
I installed the yellow and magenta cartridges, they work fine, but I installed the black and cyan cartridges and when I print, it does not display blue and black, and only shows colors that are out of register!!!
I couldn’t find a solution to this problem, please help me.
