Problème de boot sous ubuntu 9.10 Fermé

Question

Bonjour à tous, j'ai un soucis avec Ubuntu 9.10. Etant en 9.04 jusqu'à ce matin, j'ai fait la mise à jour vers la 9.10 dans la journée, et Ô surprise, ça ne veut plus démarrer.
J'ai un joli message après avoir selectionné la version 3.6.31-14 dans le GRUB.
J'ai le même message si je selectionne la version 3.6.28.16.
En fait, j'ai toujours le même message T_T.

Il dit ceci :

Quand j'essaie de monter un volume, il me dit :
Cannot read /etc/fstab: No such file or directory

Quand à ma config :
que des disques SATA, un pour le /home, un pour la racine, et un pour le /temp.
cpu Intel quad core sur une msi P965, avec 3Go de ram.

Moi j'ai fais une fois la mise à jour et c'est là que j'ai eu le plus de problème .
A ta place je téléchargerais en torrent l'image ISO , je graverais un CD ( moi je l'ai fait sans pb avec un CD-RW) et je ferais une installation propre en ne formattant que ta (/) racine .
 N'omet aucune des 6 premières étapes de ce tuto si tu choisis cette option :

Depuis la dernière version, Ubuntu utilise Grub 2 (grub pc) à la place de Grub.
Je pense que la mise à jour du fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst ne s'est pas faite correctement.
Je vois en effet une anomalie dans ton fichier :
