Impossible cleaning 46 on Brother DCP 750CW

Hello,
My Brother DCP 750CW printer is stuck with the following message on the screen: cleaning impossible 46. I’ve turned it off and on several times, but it remains stuck in this position and I can’t move the menu. I’ve heard about cleaning the pads and resetting it (how to do that with the menu frozen???). Does anyone have a solution or an address to suggest that could help me solve this problem? A big thank you in advance to the competent person who will assist me. Windows XP and Internet 7. grygry

Unplug the printer, hold down menu and plug it back in.
Use the arrows to display 8 and press ok, then display 0 and press ok, you will enter maintenance.
Press the mono power button several times until purge appears.
Using the arrows, enter 2783 (2 then ok, 7 then ok, etc...)
The Purge value goes back to zero.
Unplug the printer then plug it back in.
And there you go! -
