TV sound crackling

Question

Hello,

URGENT :

For a few days now, I've noticed that the sound of my television crackles when it's on;
This noise is especially noticeable with each change of image.
I don't know where it comes from.
I've checked the sockets.
The sound seems to come from the speakers.
It doesn't happen constantly but intermittently.
The television is an old model but new, purchased in 2005 (I mean it's not a flat screen, it's a basic television)
sometimes we observe the same type of crackling with lamps...
Thank you for your help, I don't want to pay a repairman!!!

If you are connected to the internet and have 2 remote controls, it's simple: with the first remote, set the volume to a maximum of 40 percent, then raise the volume with the second remote. I just did it, the crackling has disappeared.

Hello,  you should check if the TNT signal is good. It could be coming from that.

So it must be coming from your speakers!! You should probably change them. Otherwise, if you have multiple sound modes (pop, music, rock...), try changing the mode.

I think! Or if you have the three outputs (yellow video plus red and white audio) connect a hi-fi system to it and see if it comes from the TV or the speaker.

Hello,
I've been having the same issue since I connected the SFR decoder to my TV. With my old basic decoder, I had no problems.
Since then, the more white there is on the screen, the clearer the image becomes, and the more it buzzes.
By increasing the volume on the decoder (between 40 and 100) and adjusting the volume on the TV, the buzzing disappears or is muffled, I don't know, but in any case, we can't hear it anymore.
