Hello,
I received a text message from the following number 10135. I know that this message was sent from a computer, and I would like to know who this person is with this number. Is that possible? Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,
For your information, I received several messages from 10135 following ads posted on leboncoin with my number.
I dug deeper and came across scams originating from Côte d'Ivoire where people promise to buy your items listed on leboncoin through dubious transfers... (Paypal, Western Union...)

I received a message from the same number. The response from pagesjaune.fr is
"We cannot provide you with an answer for one of the following reasons:

The telephone operator has committed to not providing information about this number.
This number is not listed in the Pagesjaunes database.
It is the number of an internal extension in a company."

This number can be used by anyone; it is a message sent via a computer, and if the person does not sign the message, you cannot know where it comes from.
Having already received such a message, I suggest that you ask all your phone contacts if they tried to contact you via the internet.
In my case, I had information that allowed me to identify the person... It's true that if you don't have unlimited texts, it can be costly... So unfortunately, there's not really a solution...

Hello, I confirm gb's response.

I almost fell for it because I'm naturally suspicious, so if someone offers to buy your item through Le Bon Coin, respond like this: No problem, cash payment, hand-to-hand and at your place, you will already have an answer from them, which is, no response or no longer any response.

Even more devious: give them the exact name and address of your bank, even the name of your advisor (to lull them into a false sense of security because they will go check), then ask them for their credit card number WITH the famous 3-digit security code located on the far right, on the back of all credit cards and respond that you need it to transfer the transaction fees (e.g.: €10) in advance due to the purchase of your item.

I think you understand "why" of the trick and be careful.

Be careful of FAKE Ebay pages, it's phishing, EVERYTHING looks like the real site BUT they cannot have the same domain name! That's the only way to be sure you're on the right site/server.
Above all, never send money when in doubt, especially via Western Union.
And NEVER believe a message that says you have received a payment, check your account every time to be sure!

I received another SMS from 10135 at 12:07 today, while the ad was validated at 11:24 for a touchscreen tablet on Le Bon Coin.

Indeed, it's a scam; I received 3 texts and without any spelling mistakes (they've made some progress, those rascals). All 3 coming from 10135 for a single advertisement posted on Le Bon Coin.

For your information, here are the email addresses that these scammers left me:

I would like to respond to this topic because I also received two messages from buyers immediately after posting my ad. It seemed strange to me, especially since both texts said something close to the same thing, asking me to contact them via email. Suspecting a scam, I asked why they preferred email, and I did not receive a response.
The only difference with you is that both numbers started with 06.

First message:

Hello, I would like to know if your console is still available, if so, please contact me at this address audrey.doubois(@)gmail.com thank you

Second message:

Hello, I would like to know if your ad for the game console is still available? If so, please contact me at this email: agnes.mel79(@)gmail.com to discuss this. Best regards.

I myself received these messages via SMS from 10135, with pitiful spelling mistakes. I received a total of 5 messages within 2 hours after my ad was posted on Le Bon Coin. There's no need to complicate things; either you don't respond, or you do like me, and you mail bomb their inbox. It's pointless; they create new ones anyway, but it feels good! Hello, I received 2 texts from 10135 with a 4-hour interval about an old, cheap, and very bulky device... suspicious because it can only interest connoisseurs and the ad is not very fresh. The names in the emails sound very French, the spelling almost perfect BUT they are women, not exactly the profile of a connoisseur one claims right away that it’s a shipment for Côte d'Ivoire they ask me for more photos, the other asks me for my last price, trying to add some reality to the request. Yes, very strange. I myself received a message on my phone (the number was 10135). I'm not that gullible; I searched online because I sensed a scam miles away! Anyway, the message said: "Hello, your coat is still available for sale?? If so, please send me photos as well as the final price to this address: christinecaix@gmail.com. Following an advertisement posted on Le Bon Coin, my daughter received a text message from this infamous number saying to respond by email, which she did. I sensed the scam right away and never replied, yet I always state in my ads "NO SMS" but it makes no difference. So don't fall for it, there is certainly a big scam behind it.
