I almost fell for it because I'm naturally suspicious, so if someone offers to buy your item through Le Bon Coin, respond like this: No problem, cash payment, hand-to-hand and at your place, you will already have an answer from them, which is, no response or no longer any response. Even more devious: give them the exact name and address of your bank, even the name of your advisor (to lull them into a false sense of security because they will go check), then ask them for their credit card number WITH the famous 3-digit security code located on the far right, on the back of all credit cards and respond that you need it to transfer the transaction fees (e.g.: €10) in advance due to the purchase of your item. I think you understand "why" of the trick and be careful.

Be careful of FAKE Ebay pages, it's phishing, EVERYTHING looks like the real site BUT they cannot have the same domain name! That's the only way to be sure you're on the right site/server. Indeed, it's a scam; I received 3 texts and without any spelling mistakes (they've made some progress, those rascals). All 3 coming from 10135 for a single advertisement posted on Le Bon Coin. For your information, here are the email addresses that these scammers left me: bisouxlablonde [@] gmail.com... that one made me doubt a little raffarinpierre [@] gmail.com... that one had me laughing out loud; they could have thrown in a pair of jeans in the mix... and agnes.mel79 [@] gmail.com

I myself received these messages via SMS from 10135, with pitiful spelling mistakes. I received a total of 5 messages within 2 hours after my ad was posted on Le Bon Coin. There's no need to complicate things; either you don't respond, or you do like me, and you mail bomb their inbox. It's pointless; they create new ones anyway, but it feels good! Give it a try; you won't be disappointed! ;)
