Search word list

I also needed a list of French words and found the one from FREELANG. Good, but today, it only contains 22,740 words and I was hoping for better. I looked further and actually found the one by Christophe Pallier, which has 336,531 words. It seemed interesting, so I downloaded it. I was disappointed. Firstly, all the verbs are conjugated. The verb "aimer," for example: all the persons in all tenses and moods; that's a lot of words for a single verb. The adjectives are gendered and numbered (e.g. joli, jolis, jolie, jolies). Furthermore, simple words like "aujourd'hui" are not included.

It's a shame, but removing all the conjugated forms of the verbs and duplicates (masculine, feminine, singular, plural) from 336,531 words, then finding and adding the missing words requires too much work. Maybe for other uses, the conjugated verbs and other oddities would work, but as for me, I gave up.
