Hidden Column A in Excel

Hello,
I'm working on a document in Excel 2007. I first filtered the data in column A before hiding it.
But now I can't display it anymore. I've tried the usual methods: going to it, searching for it, selecting everything before clicking "unhide" but nothing works. The data is there because if I type A1, the column title appears in the formula bar.

I don't know how to recover this damn column A. Is it a bug in 2007 or is it because I applied a filter before hiding it?

I hope you can help me.
Thanks to everyone.
Configuration: Windows 2003 Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hi

    I tried and it works:

    you disable the filter.
you select column B and then the one with the line numbers (logically 2 columns selected)
then right-click on B and then show

you just need to unfreeze the panes (View > Freeze Panes) and you can access column A again without any issues. Then you can re-freeze the panes if you want.

It must be a bug in Excel 2007 ...
