Hello everyone,

Thank you in advance for the attention you will pay to my problem.
About a week ago, a dialog box appeared informing me that the Isass.exe process had been stopped and that my computer would also shut down in 60 seconds. After further research, I began to wonder if I was infected by a virus like Sasser. After a good number of diagnostics and checks, my PC seems free of any virus. Then, about 2 or 3 days ago, an error appeared without any particular action on my part; the blue screen indicated it was an error of type
STOP: 0x000000F4
So I dived back into Google and came across this information which is very little helpful to me:
the link:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/ddtools/hh/ddtools/BCCodes_1a708a96-14bf-41c7-8881-cec536b95c57.xml.asp

But I still haven't been able to determine where my problem comes from and what it might be related to since no new device or software has been installed on my PC for quite some time. I also want to specify that upon rebooting after the blue screen, it seems that my computer can no longer boot Windows, but after several power cycles, Windows is recognized again.

Configuration:

Pentium IV 2.4GHz
Gforce4 TI 4600
1 GB of RAM
Windows XP Pro SP2
ASUS motherboard

Hello, I experienced random crashes on my PC with blue screen error messages STOP 0x000000F4.
A technician, unable to find the issue, replaced the hard drive, but the same error messages came back.
After several months, I replaced the hard drive again and ultimately the entire central unit.
The problem returned! I then called an electrician who found that my earth wire was not connected to the outlet....
After this repair, I changed the hard drive one last time and since then, no more problems.
Ultimately, it was an electrical issue that damaged the PC's hard drive.
I took the time to post this message because I too desperately searched the internet for an answer to this question before.
I hope this helps you....
