Hello everyone,
I just acquired a Takara GP 53 GPS. It has stuck on the screen calibration and I can’t turn it off. Does anyone have any idea about this? It says: please press firmly on the black dot. The black dot will keep moving until the screen is aligned. Maneuver performed without result. Thanks to those who can provide a solution. Should I perhaps send the GPS back to the manufacturer?

To perform a RESET, you do not need a cable...
Look on the GPS if you find a small hole or a button marked RESET
Or alternatively, hold down the ON/OFF button for about 15 seconds

Thank you for your response. I reset it and nothing is displayed, meaning that when I click on navigation, it stays stuck. However, the other functions work. I must have erased everything when I restored it to factory settings. The reset shows nothing. I think I'm going to return the GPS to the seller so they can send it back to the manufacturer. Thanks again and take care.
