Update my Takara GP55BT GPS

Hello,

I have a Takara GP55BT GPS and I would like to update its map, as it is missing a lot of roads / roundabouts.

What is the procedure to follow? Thank you.

Go to your GPS's website and see if there are any updates available.
Otherwise, leave it as it is.

Same issue as you; if the manufacturer offered a clear update offer, we wouldn't be asking everywhere.

How to install the update for the removal of speed cameras on my GPS?
First, you need to download for free from the website www.microsoft.fr the program "ActiveSync" if you are using Windows XP, or the program "Windows Mobile Device Center" if you are using Windows Vista, and install it correctly on your computer. Download the update file (iGO version) and open it. Turn on the GPS and connect it to your computer using a USB cable. Once the GPS is detected by your computer, a green icon appears at the bottom of your screen and a window opens: "Define a Partnership", always respond "No", then click Next. Click on "Tools", then "Explore Device", then open the following folder: "ResidentFlash/NNG/CONTENT/SPEEDCAM/", delete ALL files already present in the "SPEEDCAM" folder and copy the new file into this folder. A conversion message will appear, click "OK", a second message will then ask you if you wish to replace the existing file, click "Yes". The update is installed, close all open folders and disconnect the GPS from the computer.
