Hello,
I have a problem. I have a very large RTF file that contains photos and text (it's an internship report... ^^) 510MB... I can't convert it to Word, but it's important that I can retrieve it because when I open it in Word or WordPad, I only see half of it without the photos displayed...
I'm waiting for your help... thank you in advance.. ^^

510MB is more of a report but an e-book encyclopedia, and still (^_^).
You didn't compress your images, did you? Or do you have a ton of them.
Another solution is to keep your images separate, but that's not great!

Yeah, I put it in my report without worrying about the size of the photos... now I'm thinking about this solution too, but it makes me redo everything because I can't open the file to put the photos separately.. I'm losing a big part of my work.. it's a nightmare..

I know that copying and pasting images instead of inserting them greatly increases the file size...
However, the fact that you can't open it seems strange to me; you created it and saved it, so I don't see why it wouldn't open?

I inserted it via Word... and changed the size, of course... it never did that to me before...
Word tells me it can't open it because I need to check if, on one hand, I opened the file properly with "Open" and then check if it has a .doc extension...
So I tried to convert my file to Word but it's too heavy so that doesn't work...
I don't really know what to do anymore... other than start all over again, but that annoys me a bit...
