Hello,
for Christmas, we received a TViX HD M-4000 P, the only small problem is that there is only the case, no hard drive inside!!!
I would like to know what to buy without making a mistake! Apparently, it needs a 3.5 IDE PATA internal hard drive! That's Chinese to us!
Could you help us?!!
Thank you in advance!!

Hello everyone, so like everyone else, I just bought a Tvix Dvico M-3100U with 400GB. I connect it to my PC and here’s the problem: the device detects the USB but nothing else, it says there is no disk. The hard drive is indeed a Hitachi, so I am lost. If any of you can help me with the procedure, I would be happy to chat with you, or if not, I could call you. Big thanks in advance.
Hello everyone, I just received my "TVIX M-4100SH".
For now, I have only set the time and the screen format when I plugged it into my TV.
Problem: The hard drive does not appear in My Computer (XP).
I went to "start" "control panel" "administrative tools" "computer management" "storage" "disk management (local)"
My disk is connected but "unallocated".
Does anyone have a solution?
PS: The first time I plugged it into the computer, the device was apparently recognized and ready to use (according to Windows...)

Hi! For my part, with the Tvix 4000 P, it also works via the remote control...
Regarding the latest firmware update version 2.2.0, once you place the update file in the "Audio" "Photo" "Video" menu, and after the update is finished and the device has restarted, what do we do with the update file that remains in this root menu? Can we delete it or should we leave it? Thank you all.

Hello, I just received my DVICO TVIX 4100SH. It has a capacity of 750GB, and I filled it up to 3/4 with video (mp4, mpeg, divx, etc...).
Problem: When I watch a movie, quite often in the middle of the movie, the image tends to blur, there is a delay in the sound, or sometimes there is no sound at all.
This forces me to rewind (4 to 5 times depending on the length of the movie), or even restart my TVIX.
This is very annoying lol, especially since I have never had this problem while watching my movies on a PC.
Has this happened to anyone else? I read that there are a lot of issues and returns to customer service with DVICO multimedia hard drives.

It's true that it's a hell of a problem for a HDD at 300 euros
the solution is actually simple
on the workstation, right-click and go to manage, then disk management, then the hard drive is recognized at the bottom of the page, it's the only one with a lot of GB, you'll see it says unallocated, right-click and if format doesn't appear, click on the first bold icon, the other icons are transparent, a window will open, click next, then next again, next, the formatting will proceed on its own
it can take from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the size of the HDD, in the end, it will be recognized by the PC.....
if Dvico looks at this kind of site, it would be important for them to quickly solve the hard drive recognition problem
to use it afterwards like a USB stick.....lol

Hello,
I bought a tvix 5000U; I updated the firmware not long ago. It went very well except that my remote control is no longer working. It doesn't respond to the "video, audio, and photo" menu. All I can do with the remote is turn the tvix on and off!!
Does anyone have a solution, please?

Hi Aurr000!
I don't have a Tvix 5000 U but the 4000 P and I believe the updates are the same.
For my part, the new firmware 2.2.7 caused issues that weren't there before. I think that, against all odds, it's still not ready!!! Those Koreans never cease to amaze me...
For my part, I preferred to reinstall the old one, 2.2.0... which works quite well!!!! Good luck.

Hello
I bought the TVIX HD M-6500A
I was able to configure it on my television and format the disk on my Mac and copy files as well as the TNT card extension, and it works. The only thing that doesn't work is that I can't connect to the network on my Mac; it sees my device but says connection error. Since there are no explanations in the documentation or on the website for network issues on Mac as there are for PC, I would like to know how to proceed and where to find the information.
On the website, there are no email links to ask questions, only an FAQ, but it's in English
Should we format the disks on Mac in NSF or FAT32? If so, that would be a pity because it would prevent me from copying files larger than 4GB, and I have files that exceed that size
Thank you

Yes, I found a simple and effective solution
I returned it to the store because, whether we like it or not, even in the professional press, it is pointed out that this reader is not compatible with Mac networks (according to SVM MAC).
And I stuck with my Mac mini, which reads everything and has no network or playback issues; plus, the reader costs around 500 euros and the Mac mini costs 599 euros, so there's really no debate.
See you!

Hello,
I also had formatting issues with a Mac.
You can always call Dvico's customer service at: 01 39 30 38 39.
For my other problem, they have no solution: the menus of the DVDs I recorded on 2 standalone recorders are not read on the Dvico 5000.
Thank you.

hi everyone
in any case, I have the impression that the brand has disappeared, leaving us alone with a very expensive item that has a lot of issues.
I have never been able to install the driver updates because they kept crashing. Only the original driver works; the next four don't work, crash the machine, and cause it to restart.
