Hello,
I just installed a TSSTcorp DVD-ROM SH-D162D "burner" in my computer, it works perfectly for reading.... but it is not detected by Nero as a burner?....
In the Device Manager, it also appears as a reader?....
Is there a driver issue?... or connection problem?... is this model really a reader/burner?
Thank you in advance for the information!

It might simply be because it's not a burner:
---> http://www.samsung.com/fr/consumer/subtype/subtype.do?group=computersperipherals&type=opticaldiskdrive&subtype=cddvdplayer
It is clearly written "DVD ROM DRIVE", isn't it? -
Good evening
it's indeed a burner
I changed mine and no problem
it installed itself automatically-

I visited your link... what worries me a little is that it says:
CD-ROM read speed: 48 X, CD-R write speed: 0 X, CD-RW write speed: 0.0 X, CD access time: 110.0 ms
write speed 0!!!!
isn't that a bad sign? I thought I had bought a burner?... (it's a purchase from a seller with a national brand?...)
