facebook:relationship status display. Closed

Hello,

I just displayed that I'm in a relationship on Facebook with my girlfriend.. so, a confirmation request was sent to her and when she confirmed, it showed on my profile that I'm in a relationship with her.. BUT, it doesn't show on her profile (I found that really strange).. then, to find a solution to this, she changed her status to say that she's in a relationship with me and a connection request was sent to me.. to my surprise, when I confirmed her request, it showed on her profile that she’s in a relationship with me but it completely disappeared from my profile.. I’m asking for help because this has been bothering me for 3 days..

I hope I was clear enough in presenting the problem;;

Hello, I have a quick question. After sending a request for a relationship status, is there a delay for the other person to respond? Because a friend made a request to his girlfriend and she hasn't replied yet (personal reasons I think, but that's not the issue). So in his info, it showed in a relationship with... but since today in his info, it just shows in a relationship! Thank you for your response!

In the section where personal information is displayed, on the right there is a small pencil icon. When you click on it, it asks you to check the information you want to display. You just have to click "Relationship status."

I know you have to go to account -> Privacy settings -> Friends, tags and connections -> Relationships and then choose everyone, only me, my friends, my friends and their friends and there you go, it's good.

No, that's incorrect. You need to do: Profile, Info. Edit your profile to add pages.
You will see completely at the top left a table where it says: General information, Profile photos, Relationships... CLICK on relationships.

You will see below the search bar RELATIONSHIP STATUS, click on its search bar and you will see IN A RELATIONSHIP, SINGLE...

THEN YOU JUST HAVE TO CLICK ON WHAT YOU WANT.

Facebook is schizophrenic and does not understand that if A is with B, then B is with A, and that confirmation requests are necessary.

The problem does not therefore come from your relationship.

There is also another parameter, which is that the more Facebook makes people click on useless or redundant pages, the more the ads published on those pages have been officially seen and will count towards sponsors' statistics.

I have witnessed the same pathology in Yahoo, Google, and many other well-known sites. Facebook is simply a more symptomatic case.

NOOO! The request appears in the friend requests, next to messages and notifications! It doesn't show a little 1 because it's not a friend request but it's really there if you click on the sign and you'll see the request!
