Accessing Shapes and Templates in Visio

Hello,

I use Visio to create diagrams. When I search for shapes with the keyword "router," I get a number of results with routers in box form or more symbolically (cylinder with arrows).

However, when I open the "Network and Devices" stencil, I only have network equipment in box form. No symbolic shapes.

When I look for the stencil of the symbolic shape found in the search, I see that it belongs to netsym_m.vss, but despite searching for this file on my PC, I can't find it.

Questions: how should I proceed to access the entire stencil that contains the symbolic shapes? Why do I only have access to a few stencils by default when the integrated database seems to be much larger based on the search results?

Thanks in advance!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.13

Go to File > Shape then choose a shape family.

I'm not that bad, but thank you anyway!

The two network families are open by default for a network-type scheme. However, not all forms that go by the name "router" are in one or the other of the "network" sub-families...
