Good evening,
I would like to know if it is possible to turn off the Apple logo on a latest generation MacBook Pro because I use it a lot on the go and it's true that this logo lit up on the lid is completely useless!!!
Thank you very much for your responses!!!

So pay attention, to the answer... it's going to hurt!
To turn off the Apple, you have to... (drum roll) turn off the screen!
- "What, is he kidding me?"
- "No, not at all!!"
But let me explain. The brightness of the Apple and that of the screen are closely related. To test it, lower the brightness of your screen while looking at the Apple, and it decreases too.
Or if you still don't believe me... Turn off your MacBook Pro, take a flashlight, and shine it on the Apple (from close enough) while looking at your Mac's screen... Miracle, I see the Apple on my screen even though it is off.
So, basically, it's impossible for the Apple to be off when the screen is on (unless you dismantle your screen and put aluminum between the two => be careful, very, very bad idea, lol)
Moral of the story, do like me, to be at ease when you're watching a movie and want it to be totally dark for a better impression, just put a little thing (booklet, book) behind.
Ciao ;)
