Hello,
here is the information I have,
dimensions: 76x37x36 cm
power handling: 44w
impedance: 4-8 ohms
the price was 1450F, there were two versions of the old model of the 44, it is distinguished by a larger dome on the bass, larger screw terminals, a different speaker grille in terms of the cut for the bass, and finally a few different components on the filters.

I personally have a pair of Celestion Ditton 44 second version that I cherish
they are exceptional speakers.

Hello,
Thank you for your response. You said 1450f, is that for the pair? And do you know what year they were released? 44w seems low compared to the power they produce.

Hello, they are from around 1973 and the impression you get with these speakers is that they have a very high efficiency. With Ditton, you had four generations of the 44, including the 44 Legend Collector, which was the most refined, born in 1994 if my memory serves me right, lol! But the early ones were monitors, while later they lost that distinction. However, watch out for the tweeter, which is quite fragile, so avoid high treble and power saturations that could quickly ruin it. The power handling actually varies depending on the type of amplifier. Personally, I own a Luxman R820 and with the loudness and bass centered, they really hit hard... whereas with a less responsive device like a Denon 1520, you can push it more... "less efficiency... normal." But today, after listening to my father's Ditton 25s... I have a little regret... the 25s are a completely unique series at the time for Ditton, straddling the 66 and the 44, combining the qualities of both without their respective flaws, but they are very rare and thus very expensive.
