Pokémon trade

Hello everyone!

So, I actually have a little problem:
I have Pokémon Diamond Version and Platinum Version, and with the help of transfers and everything, I would like to restart Diamond Version and have Tortipouss (which I would choose myself at the beginning of the game), Ouisticram, and Tiplouf in my team! Unfortunately, the latter two will be exchanged Pokémon, but I want them in my team and to train them myself! I was told that the exchanged Pokémon from the beginning (the three I mentioned) can obey even without badges...

So here’s my question: Is what I was told true (are the exchanged Pokémon from the beginning obedient) or was that just nonsense and I’m doomed to find other Pokémon?

If anyone has an answer to that, please let me know!

You need all the badges for sure, but you can also get them gradually, and your Pokémon will obey you progressively.

I have your answer:

2nd badge: Pokémon obey up to level 30
4th badge: Pokémon obey up to level 50
6th badge: Pokémon obey up to level 70
8th badge: all Pokémon obey you
