Hello,

I'm looking to execute a command from a barcode, how can I do that?

In other words, I would like to have a barcode that, when scanned, closes a file (the code would contain Alt+F4)

Thank you in advance!

It works, the keys correspond to the first 33 characters of the ASCII table.

Hi Kaze_no_i-guru!

I just came across your post regarding the use of shortcuts in barcode and... I have exactly the same problem!!!

I would like to do "ALT+T" in barcode (code128 standard).

Thanks a lot for your help!!!

Actually, I would like to know first of all if it's possible ^^

Thank you again.

I'm bumping my post and will try to be more specific to get some help ^^

I saw that it was possible to enter any character on the screen, even the "enter" and "escape" keys.

I also saw that you could program the reader to add a key (like Alt or Ctrl) before or after the scanned code.

What I would like to do, for example in Word, is to scan a barcode "Ctrl+O" to open a file, then scan a second one that contains "the name of the file and the enter key," for example, and finally a third that simply inputs a word.

I don't even know if it's possible, so if you have any ideas :S
Thank you.
