Godfather.exe has stopped working

Hello,
I’ve been on several forums to find a solution for the game "The Godfather," but nothing has worked; I've tried everything!!!
Is there anyone who has found a solution?? It’s been a while.
My famous problem with the game The Godfather is that the installation is perfect, but when I try to launch it, I get GODFATHER.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING, it’s driving me crazy!!! Vista is crap!!!
Please respond with the right solution, especially

    Yes, Vista is shit! There are some games that don't work on Vista, so if you really want to play Godfather, you need to format the computer and install a new Windows XP.

    Thank you for your message. It really gets me down because the game used to work, but since I had a problem with my PC, it went in for repairs and the game hasn't worked since.

    Bizarre, maybe you had Vista 2 before. I advise you to look for the technical sheet of the game, it should normally be in the CD, in the technical sheet, there’s everything you need for the game to work so read it.
