Dragon Quest 5 DS: How to level up quickly???

Everything is in the title.
I'm just looking for places and ways to level up quickly without using cheats, of course^^.

    When you qualify for the final, go to Palatitia (I can't remember the name). You will take on the baccarat challenge. If you succeed, you'll have a few minutes to defeat as many goop monsters as possible, like the metal goop king, etc... and you'll gain a lot of XP.
    But don’t count on raising one; it’s almost impossible.

    you go to fertilia and you use the whistle you will find metal slimes which give 1000 XP
