Philips Universal Remote and Hoher TV

Hello,
I bought a Höher TV and a Philips SRU 5110/86 universal remote,
The seller assured me they are compatible, even though the Höher brand is not listed among the compatible TVs for this remote.
So I don't see how to "sync" my TV with my remote / which TV reference in the manual to base myself on... what should I do?

    I don't know what instructions you have, but in the manual provided by Philips online https://www.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sru5110_86/sru5110_86_dfu_eng.pdf, check page 12/64

    If the code ........ or if your device brand is not listed .....

    As for making sure it will work.... I'm not the seller who assured you that!

      Hello,
      I just bought a URC-20 remote control and it works with all my other devices except for the DVD player brand TANGENT model dvr-500. I’ve tried everything with the manual but nothing works. Can you help me? If I have the code for TANGENT, maybe it will work.

      I bought a cheap universal remote control from the brand Grundig in Kandy, the code is 0707. If it helps, instead of looking for the Hoher brand, I entered the Aiko code (so 0707) and it works.

      I have a Philips DVD player next to a Philips TV. When I enter the code for Philips, it connects to the TV and not to the DVD player.
