Indeed, Vestel manufactures for major brands like Toshiba, Sharp, JVC, Panasonic, Hitachi, Telefunken, but WARNING! These manufacturers impose their specifications regarding the quality of the components used. Vestel sells similar products under its own brand, but they don't necessarily have the same quality standards when it comes to components, which results in reliability that can be questionable.
The same goes for all the sub-brands of the major manufacturers, regardless of the product. Reliability and quality come at a price! (even if for some products, you pay a bit too much for the brand)
For my part, I'd rather spend an extra €50 on a recognized brand than risk having my product break down after a few months..
