Video_rm and video_ts???

my problem is almost the same, I had some VHS video cassettes (from my wedding) converted to DVD by a so-called specialized technician. While looking through the DVD, I realized that he converted them using a home recording player from the brand “lazer ???”. So far, so good as I can play them on my home player, view them on my PC via PowerDVD, but the issue is when I want to copy them to the hard drive or burn them to another DVD? It doesn't work. When I open the DVD on my PC, I see two folders: one named VIDEO_RM containing 3 files: VIDEO_RM.BUP, VIDEO_RM.DAT, and VIDEO_RM.IFO. The other folder named VIDEO_TS contains the usual video DVD files:
VIDEO_TS.BUP,
VIDEO_TS.IFO,
VIDEO_TS.VOB,
VTS_01_0.BUP,
VTS_01_0.IFO,
VTS_01_1.VOB, 1Go
VTS_01_2.VOB, 1Go
VTS_01_3.VOB, 1Go
VTS_01_4.VOB, 650Mo

What’s strange is that I can copy or burn all the files one by one (from the 3 converted DVDs) except for the file “VTS_01_1.VOB, 1Go” for which I always get a message during burning or copying (cyclic redundancy check data error).

I need your help to keep a copy just in case.

could you tell us a bit more, for example, mention the brand of the camcorder in question because "VIDEO_RM" I don't know, it’s certainly another "proprietary" standard of this manufacturer, but we need to "get out" of it if we want, for example, to read the DVD created on the computer or elsewhere?
