Unexpected appearance of a volume icon

Hello,
I have a PHILIPS 170B flat LCD screen. For a week now, a volume window has appeared in the middle of the screen and stays there permanently. This icon appears above all the applications I launch on my computer. Please, it would be a great help if you could assist me in solving this problem. Thank you in advance.

    Maybe (I say maybe it worked on one of my screens one day) You turn it on and cut the power, on mine it rebooted and it went back to normal.

    Bravoooo it worked on my screen too. Thank you very much Aden. Phew, that was close. Please Aden, do you have any idea what caused that?

      Great, I had the same problem in 2015, and I tried a bunch of key combinations that didn't work!
      With the screen turned on and unplugging the power, the volume icon no longer appears. That's awesome because I wanted to buy a new screen and there's no need for that anymore.
      Yeah!
