How to erase in AutoCAD paper space

Hello,
I have AutoCAD 2007 and I'm trying to delete elements in the layout without deleting them in the model space. Is it possible? How can I do that?

      If you don't want to display objects in your presentation window while keeping them in your object space, you first need to place them in a new layer. Then you go to your presentation space and double-click in your presentation window (that's where your object appears). Open the layer manager and select the layer where you stored your objects to be removed. On the right, you have several options, check the one named "Freeze in new windows," the icon looks like a piece of paper with a sun; when you check it, the sun turns into a snowflake.

    If I'm not mistaken, logically you cannot, because what you see in your paper space windows is a zoom of your object space, so if you delete, you do it in your object space.

    However, it is possible to create layers that are visible but do not print when printed.

    Hello,

    I would also add that if you want to keep the objects visually without the "traces", you can check the "printer" icon corresponding to the layer they are under in the layer manager.

    A little personal tip, if it can help:

    I regularly draw study lines or write annotations that are unnecessary for the client, so I created a layer (I named it "help"), I assigned it a color (gray), and by default, I set it to not print (crossed printer icon).
    This way, I know in advance that anything drawn under this layer won't be printable, even though it remains visible on my plan.
