Import an AutoCAD file into ArchiCAD

it's not the best solution I know: here, you are right.
What you need to do:
File - open - activate - DWG file - double-click on the DWG file you want to open
If Archicad asks you a question you don't know how to answer, click ignore or ignore all.
If your plan appears partially, before going to see your mother, check the layers to make them visible.

Thank you very much, but unfortunately, it doesn’t work: I click open, select the file type (dwg), (by the way, I don’t see “activate”), I choose my autocad file, and then it tells me: the file name.dwg cannot be processed due to unsupported version R-18.

It’s strange because I used to import dwg files when I was working with autocadLT 2002 and archicad 6.5, and now I have autocadLT 2006, and it doesn’t work with my archicad 6.5?....

I tried opening the dwg file from Archicad while that file is open in AutoCAD: it works at first, there’s finally an import window, which offers me, among other things, to "explode but keep grouped" the dwg/dxf symbols, but when I click Ok, it tells me "cannot open name.dwg, because another application has locked it, close this application or release this file." But if I don’t open it with AutoCAD at the same time, Archicad doesn’t even open the import window. Not cool....
