How to read encrypted messages from files

Configuration: impossible to read DBX files, an error message tells me that the syntax is incorrect and that I need to check with the "Raw" command line... I don't know what to do or where to go, it's a complete mess... I open it with an extractor I found online which is: Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9... but nothing opens, even though Microsoft advised me to use this software to open it... Otherwise, I open it with WordPad and it displays a mix of letters, numbers, and especially squares everywhere, which makes it look encrypted... Basically, can I read the entirety of these files?

    Hello,

    The dbx files are not Visual FoxPro files, but Outlook Express files (they are the folders of Outlook Express).

    (and Visual FoxPro is not an "extractor," but an object-oriented programming language focused on data)

      Actually, the question that comes to me is this: knowing that these files are indeed Outlook files that I have redirected to a folder, how can I access this folder? And please don't tell me it's through Outlook, otherwise I'm going to snap because the operation has already been done but still nothing... damn it, there must be a way to view these files, right? For crying out loud... hihihi lol (ps) thanks.

    After downloading ADOBE READER 8 on my Windows Vista and not being immune to a false maneuver.

    My files remain encrypted.

    Fetitrans,

    these files are not encrypted. They are binary files that cannot be opened with a text editor, but with a hex editor.

    That said, you will only view the content imperfectly, in small chunks, and it will take a long time.
