Hello,
I have a problem with Office 2007. Recently, I must have changed something, but I don’t know what. When I insert an image into Word 2007, it is invisible; the page remains blank. Only the border of the image appears. However, if I change the settings to "Bring the image in front of the text," the image finally shows up.
So I assume that by default something is set in front of my image and I don’t know how to make "Bring the image in front of the text" the default setting. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office, but the issue persists. However, there are no problems inserting an image in Excel.
Thank you
Serge

Hello,
It's just an option to uncheck: "space for images" (Office button / Word Options / Advanced Options / in Display).

Hello,
Just a clarification to complete Argixu's response.
Indeed, when you select "Image in front of text," your image appears. But your image wasn't hidden behind anything. It's simply that by choosing this option, you are applying a layout to your image. You could have chosen another type of layout, like Square or Tight, or even "Behind text"! It would have had the same effect because the "space for images" option only affects images WITHOUT a layout, that is to say, those that are aligned with the text.

Hello,
Is it possible to have this option unchecked by default, or do we have to do it every time?
Thank you.
