Swallow insertion in Word

Hello,

A little advice on inserting swallows in Word, I need to indicate to the printer where they should cut because the book I need to print is not A4, but a smaller size, so I need to indicate the 4 corners.

If anyone knows how to do it, please let me know.

Thank you in advance
Have a good day

    Hello
    which version of Word?
For 2007: Office Button / Word Options / Advanced Options / Show document content: check Show crop marks
For earlier versions, it's in Tools / Options but after that I don't remember (you forget quickly ;-)

Yes, they simply indicate the margin positions of your document
so you need to adjust your margins as you see fit and you will see them move (Ribbon / Layout / Margins)

      Hello,

I have a problem, how to reposition the swallows without moving the text? (to have a margin)

      Thank you in advance

Swallows are just a materialization of your mages
You need to define your margins, then write your text, and finally format it

And how to make the swallows frame the page plus the header line?
