Canadian French Keyboard Issue

Solved

Hello,

I just switched from Windows 98 to Windows XP. I notice that by selecting Canadian French as the language, several characters have changed position. For example, to get @ I have to press <shift> 2 instead of <Alt Car> 2. The quotes I used to get by pressing <shift> 2 are now on <shift> .. The <>»« and several others have also changed position.

Is there a "driver" that I'm missing? Or is there another solution?

Thank you for your insights!!!

Hello.

You do what I wrote to you and everything should work.

1. Go to the control panel, then to Keyboard and click on LANGUAGE.

On the left side, enter under language FRENCH (Canada) and press ADD. Then you will press PROPERTIES to reach keyboard layout. Enter FRENCH (Canada) again. Don't forget to press APPLY AND OK.

It's done.

Hello and good luck
