My mouse keeps disconnecting often

Hello, for quite some time now, my mouse keeps disconnecting on its own. Every time, I have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to work, and then it disconnects again a few minutes later.
Could someone help me solve this issue, please?

P.S.: I've already tried changing the USB port and the drivers are up to date.
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.10

Well, the problem is solved; I got a new one for Christmas, and everything's working perfectly...
