Landscape Portrait Printing Issue

Hello,
I have a user who has a strange problem: when they try to print a file in landscape mode, the document always prints in portrait.

They are printing on a Brother 5250 over the network, and the driver is fine (I printed from another computer on the same printer and there was no issue).

I noticed this with both a PowerPoint file and a Word file.

I found a workaround that involves printing the document in landscape mode on a virtual PDF printer and then printing the generated PDF.

It works, but I need to find a real solution.

Does anyone have any ideas?

    which version of Office?
    if 2007, check in Office Button / Word Options / Advanced Options / Printing / what does it say in "default tray"?
