Retrieving drivers from windows.old

Hello,

I just formatted my laptop by reinstalling Vista. Many devices were not recognized. I thought of recovering my missing drivers from the windows.old folder.

My issue is that I don't know which folder the drivers are in. System32/??

I was planning to copy and paste the relevant folder.

I would like to know if this would work and what that folder is.

Any help is welcome.

    I solved my problem by searching for a driver from the windows.old/system32 folder; it seems to be working.
