The problem persists, even though the CCleaner program ran correctly, it doesn't change anything.
Then the TomTom still doesn't start except when I press the button for a very, very long time! But it can't find a signal, is it the memory card that took a hit?? Thank you for your help!!

On some GPS devices, there is a reset button on the back. Take a bent paperclip.

Try to update the GPS on the manufacturer's website.

Look here for the reset and there for a user guide for the Tomtom

    Ccleaner ????

The wait for a GPS signal can be long, but ???

If the Tomtom starts up, that's already a good sign.
    Have you made a backup?
You might need to reinstall the application or update it via Tomtom home, but it's important to make a backup first before any actions and with Tomtom home before leaving:
Device and disconnect, then wait for the Tomtom to restart, otherwise there may be issues.

    Happy May 1st!
