Antenna extension cable

Hello, I'm not sure I'm in the right forum. Nonetheless, I'll present my problem; I thank you in advance for guiding me if necessary.
I live in an apartment, within a residence. I have an existing antenna socket in the living room and a TV. I want to place my TV on a different wall from the one equipped with the antenna socket without having cables running along the floor. I have therefore made a "groove" that starts from the existing socket and goes to the desired location to install the new socket (which will replace the old one that will be "sealed off"). The issue is knowing how to connect/extend the existing antenna wire with new cable to reach the new location where I will install my new antenna socket? Knowing that all of this should be invisible/in the wall? Are there any specific connection devices to connect two antenna cables together? I hope my question is clear enough; I will provide more details if necessary. Thank you for your responses.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hi
I see two possibilities for connecting the old cable and the "extension":
You can use "F" connectors (satellite type) two male and a female/female adapter, all with a rigid core antenna cable.
Or a standard "TV socket" set (one male and one female) still with rigid core cable, if you have enough space to hide it all.
This will take up the least space for connecting the two antenna cables, in my opinion.
I hope this helps you.
