Child, Son, Pharaoh, Journey, Today

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a TV movie that I saw a long time ago, but I can't find the title. Here is what I remember about the film:

ø First of all, this film aired on (French) television between 2000 and 2004. It is a film, not an animated movie. It's a miniseries in several (3 or 4) episodes. It's not a TV series either.

ø The film is set in Egypt. From what I remember, it tells the story of a child abandoned on the Nile in a similar manner to Moses during Ancient Egypt. I believe there is a scene on the Nile where a giant cobra emerges from the water, symbolizing protection for the child. During his journey on the Nile, the child arrives in present time.

ø Later in the film, I remember an archaeologist, or something like that, who I think adopted the child. We learn that he has a connection to a pharaoh, and they set out to search for his missing father.

ø At the end of the film: They go into a tomb that is buried under the Nile during high tide. At low tide, the entrance is revealed. They enter this tomb with an Egyptian guide. Inside the tomb, there are a multitude of old Egyptian traps that they manage to pass thanks to the guide. There is also a villain with henchmen who comes into the tomb, but many of them die from the traps. In the end, the child meets the memory of his father (materialized as a normal human). Then they have to leave quickly because the Nile is rising.

If you know the name of the film, any actor, or any other information...

Thank you in advance.
