LG Viewty screen yellow: help me please!!!

Hello,
I was in the process of backing up my LG Viewty and it stopped, and now when I turn it on, the screen is yellow with "refreshing" written on it.
Does anyone have a solution please? I'm really troubled without my phone....
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Don't worry, I had the same problem and everything is fine now. First of all, tell me if you have the EFS Tool ..?
    And which operator are you with? And is your version v10i?

    I'm with Orange, yes I have EFS tool but I can't remember the version...

    Ah ok :s no because there are many versions but I'll give you the simplest one (the original) + the tutorial.. however after all these manipulations you will lose all the data you have on your phone (numbers..sms..music..) you can still recover the music with EFS.

    In the tutorial, it says to put the backup back on the phone, but the thing is, mine (the one on the PC) didn't finish!

      It works anyway, I recommend you to follow this tutorial, it works great, it lasts about 1 hour, but at least you'll get a great result, make sure to download the original file to be able to do "write" ... follow the tutorial closely

    But when I open efs on the PC there is a toto and on the phone, there is a lgapp AND a toto, is that normal???
    (I know I'm annoying but I can't afford to buy a new phone^^)

    Yeah, no problem, so first try to remove TOTO and keep LGAPP, disconnect it and accept the phone reboot, let me know what happens after, if the screen is still yellow, okay?

    Okay, well you first download the v10G version of Orange and you follow the tutorial to the letter (links at the beginning of the conversation)

      I got myself into trouble with my Viewty, I can't get it back to how it was before, even with the Toto method. Plus, I've lost my receipt for the warranty.

      Well, you are supposed to right-click on it and click WRITE, but you need to remove the LGAPP from your phone

    What they call the original backup is the act of restoring the original settings, like version v10G :)
    I added you on MSN, did you do it as it was said in the tutorial? Or are you in the process of doing it?

    Hello, you need to back up your Viewty using EFS Media Builder, set up the backup and it should work.
    If you have a file named TOTO, rename it to LGAPP.
