Ftp.chez.com issues with FileZilla

Hello,
I created a personal page at chez.com the day before yesterday. I received the passwords. Since then, I have been unsuccessfully trying to connect via FTP to upload my first file. I based my setup on the busyspider tutorial for configuring FileZilla. Here’s what I get:
Status: Waiting before retrying...
Status: Resolving IP address for ftp.chez.com
Status: Connecting to 212.27.63.127:21...
Status: Connection established. Waiting for welcome message...
Error: Timeout expired
Error: Unable to connect to the server!
Has anyone encountered this issue? How can I tell if my site is operational?

it seems to be working perfectly:

Try again a little later, the server may be unavailable or overloaded. In any case, I just tested it and it connects correctly! I can't access the file due to a password, but the welcome message reaches me well and quickly.
The personal page must be in "active" (and not in "destruction") in the account in question, otherwise the FTP won't work!
The FTP is ftp://ftp.chez.com and the login to use is the name of the personal page (written in bold in your personal account space). The password is usually the same as your account BUT not necessarily (for my personal case in particular :o).
