"unknown exception" what to do?

Hello,
I have a problem, when I try to launch After Effects it gives me "alert unknown exception" even though 20 minutes before my project was open in After and I was working on it. I wanted to turn off my computer because MSN had crashed it. And when it restarted, I can't reopen After Effects, instead I get this damn alert. Does anyone have a solution? 
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 525.27.1

    Hi,

    Here is the solution to your problem:

    In the User account, find the After Effects preferences folder:

    ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/9.0

    and delete all its contents.

    The software should be able to reopen.
