Hello,

Is it possible to force a torrent file to download data in order?
For example, to download a video progressively, instead of downloading a bit from the end, a bit from the middle...

Thank you :)

There is a Bittorrent client that supports this feature, it is qBittorrent.

The download link: https://www.qbittorrent.org/download.php

To enable sequential downloading that allows you to watch a video file during its download, which saves time, simply right-click on the torrent and click on Sequential Download.

Yes, I know that... You're responding off-topic.

I thought there might be a trick to force sequential downloading.

On qBittorrent (torrent software) right-click, sequential download. If you have a sufficient bandwidth, you can right-click to preview the file, and you can do BitTorrent streaming like on Popcorn Time.

Hi

Normally no, because the principle of torrents is precisely that they download pieces that are available first and wait for the incomplete pieces to be ready for download.

If you want to be able to download from start to finish, you need to use direct downloading, for example when you download from the internet using IE or Firefox.
