Filezilla Transfer Impossible Solved

Question

Hello,

I recently changed the version of Filezilla, before I could connect to the server and perform transfers without any issues but since the version change, I can connect to the server (successful reading of the folder content), I see my remote folders on the right side of Filezilla with most of them having a question mark (which I didn't have before), if I click on it (the folder), the question mark disappears and I can visualize the content of this folder but I can no longer perform transfers, it shows me:

Response: 530 Sorry this account is already in use
Error: Unable to establish a connection to the server

Does anyone have an idea?

I found the answer while browsing the Forum

File-->Site Manager-->Transfer Settings-->Transfer Mode (Passive) and checked the box "Limit the number of simultaneous connections" and set it to "1"

Thank you for this ultimate info on configuring Filezilla ^^'. I struggled for several days to set up my multimedia hard drive over Wi-Fi and once it was done Filezilla was not working. But your explanation unlocked everything!! :D.
So I confirm this operation! It works ;)

it's the second time I'm using FileZilla and I'm unable to connect to the server, I've disabled my firewall and I've followed your instructions but nothing works, I don't know what to do anymore!

It's the same for me, I finally managed to connect but once I try to send files, I get a Critical Error message, and even setting it to 1 doesn't work ^___~ Does anyone have any ideas? :s Thank you :)

No way to find a decent tutorial. What I want to know is what to put in the "host," "username," and "password" fields to transfer files from PC to PC.

What do we put in the host, the name of our site or the host???

The host (for example, if you’re using the excellent free host Hostinger, you enter in the server address field of FileZilla server25.hostinger.fr)
