I just came across the site and I'm bringing you a tip I used to install Sage accounting on Vista
You need to explore the CD. Look for the Setup.
Right-click on the setup
and run as administrator.
I hope this helps you, but by now I hope you've already found it.
Good luck to everyone.

Hello,
It is very strange that an organization sends you software requiring a local client and a server (relatively expensive, typically Win Server 2003 + MySQL) without informing you of the requirements.
Either this organization sent you a copy, or you retrieved a copy. The line 100 does not function locally (no Sage line, by the way).
Best regards

Hello
I reassure everyone, the 100 cbase range works well in both mono and workgroup or client-server modes. (The latter two cases require the Sage NT server to operate in multi-user mode)
The SQL version of Sage 100 requires either MSDE or SQL 2000 up to version 15.53.
In version 16.01, you can use SQL Express or SQL 2008 (I haven't tested it on 64b yet).
Aside from that, SAGE 100 is very stable in all these environments if you know its limits.
Cbase version, 10 to 15 users, database up to 800/900 megabytes.
SQL version, 20/25 users, database up to 5/6 gigabytes.
Good reactions in client:server and TSE, avoid VMware for more than 10 users with BO.
Happy Sage!

Hi, it's Riham from Morocco. I also have a problem installing the Sage Accounting software. I have a control after 2 days and I don't know what to do. Regarding you, I believe you can't install it on Vista.
the L100 owner not working locally??? I want to see that..... :D when you don't know.....
Anyway
the accounting works fine on Vista, however only from v15.01
if your issue is with the authentication key, I have serious doubts about Vista being the problem. The key only has coherence with the version and the serial number of the software.
so indeed the response from your organization to contact SAGE is good advice.

I couldn't find a solution to install the software. I called Educatel, but they told me it's compatible and to check with the company SAGE. I think I'm going to call them.
Thank you for replying to me
Can you help me install Sage on my laptop with Vista? In fact, when I finish the installation and try to enter the access key, it tells me that it is incorrect; yet the same key works on XP. Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards.
