Hello, I would like to know what having 8 wires in an RJ45 is for and what goes through the wire when we are connected to a network.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.6
1) Data transmission + (10, 100baseT, 1000)
2) Data transmission - (10, 100baseT, 1000)
3) Data reception + (10, 100baseT, 1000)
4) R/Data transmission + (1000)
5) R/Data transmission - (1000)
6) Data reception - (10, 100baseT, 1000)
7) E/Data reception + (1000)
8) E/Data reception - (1000)
and this is just for ethernet, RJ45 can also be used for telephony (digital and analog), token ring, ATM25, G703 .... and others.
