Icon with a red cross but I have internet

Hello,
I just resolved my wifi issue on the Freebox HD, but now I have another small problem.

Actually, I'm connected to the internet, but in the taskbar at the bottom right, I see the little computer icon crossed out with a red X as if I’m not connected.
If anyone knows why this is happening?
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Because your connection is poorly configured.
    Reinstall your Freebox

What do you mean by "reinstall your Freebox"? To reboot it?

I don't know where my Free CD is, is it possible to find the software online?

Does this software also work if I am already on Wi-Fi, as I see it says "freebox usb"?
And I can't see how to uninstall the old software since there's no freebox software in the add/remove programs.

Actually, I have a Freebox V5 HD, so I didn't get a CD with it to install it....

Could you tell me the "little something" you did, because I have the same problem: I often get disconnected. Thank you for helping me.

The answer to the cross on the network icon is found in Windows services. Set it to automatic and start the services with dependency on RPC, Remote Access Manager, and Remote Access Routing. I set both to auto reboot and there's no more red cross.

the little crossed-out computer actually means that you are not connected to the ethernet network (via cable), which is normal if you are connected via Wi-Fi
and if everything is working, you shouldn't worry about a simple little worrying icon
to reassure yourself, you can also connect your PC directly to the Freebox, that icon should disappear
    but there is no problem

      ok thanks
actually the problem was that it would disconnect me every 10/15 minutes
but now it seems to be good, I changed a little something...
      thank you for your help
