Opening the cash drawer with windev

Hello,

I am developing with Windev 9 on Windows XP SP3. I would like to open a cash drawer after the cashier validates the invoice, from my Windev application. So, is there a function that allows me to do this? Thank you for responding. 
Configuration: Windows XP SP3 Internet Explorer 6.0

I have a CITIZEN Idp 3550 printer that has an RJ11 socket at the back to connect a cash drawer
Unfortunately, I don't know what commands to send to open the drawer
Have you received any responses or found a solution?

There is no function that allows you to do this because the method depends on the hardware. Some cash drawers open with a command via a serial port, others via USB, or others electrically with a contact. Therefore, you need to refer to your hardware manual.

could you help us regarding an issue with the receipt printer that no longer prints and the cash drawer that does not open anymore via TM 88IV EBP software and PC XP PRO.
