Hello everyone,
I have a silly question but since I'm curious...
What is the difference between the names in black and those in blue for people's names when searching for people on Facebook? Does it relate to their status or something else?

Thank you in advance for your response!

In blue are those you can add as friends, while those in black are the ones who checked a box to prevent you from adding them as friends (you can see for yourself that those in black cannot be added..) I tried to help you :$$.. Kisses

The names in blue are those who have a visible profile (either because they are on your friends list or because they haven't set any privacy settings). You can therefore see their profile.

"The people in black are those who don't have Facebook and the people in blue, well, they do."

Hahaha what is this nonsense?!! =D
I don't know if you meant it, but otherwise, "the people in black are those who don't have Facebook"; how can they be on FB without having it?!

PS: At school, I learned French. So, I don't know if you didn't learn it on your side, but 11 mistakes in one line, that's impressive! I hope you're not taking the French BAC this year ^^.

Well, you shouldn't talk like that to someone you don't even know, and just so you know, what's all the rage right now is abbreviated writing or even texting, unless you're too smart to write like that LOL it's not because you write in perfect French that you're intelligent.

It's clear that it's petty to judge people based on spelling or grammar. And the worst part is that you're wrong, and ssss is right. The names written in blue are those of people who have a Facebook account and are identified in photos or statuses. The names in black are those of people who do not have a Facebook account but have been identified in photos by their Facebook friends. It's really that simple! For example, if you don't have Facebook but are taken in a photo at a party and those photos are published on Facebook, a friend of yours who recognizes you can click on your photo and enter your first name or nickname, but it will be written in black, whereas if you had a Facebook account, it would appear in blue!! It's that simple

Just to support Konan, it is correct and sensible not to use "text language" on forums for the sake of readability and common sense :)
Please read: https://www.commentcamarche.net/infos/25857-charte-de-commentcamarche-net-conseils-d-ecriture/
before making comments to unnecessarily support "text language" ...
Thank you.

Grave !! for Konan, the more you speak in text language, the less you'll be able to speak normally ;)

But come on, people! Those in blue are if you want the friend to be in your post! If you don't, it'll be in black!

Hello,

I believe the people in blue are those who are in your contact list or with whom you have exchanged ... In black, those are the others ...

Hello Laura,
those in blue are simply individuals registered like the others, and those in black are the ones you’ve blocked or reported.

The names of colors in black are the regular names and the names of colors in blue are the names or wind, written with an at sign, for example: @the name. And if you click on the blue name, it opens the person's Facebook.

Les gens en noir sont ceux qui n'ont pas Facebook et les gens en bleu, eux, l'ont.
